Working-From-Home Policy

To promote responsibility and accountability to our funders, our College, and the University I am sending this note to clarify what documentation is required for those of you who may have occasion to work from home from time to time or who utilize flex time.

First, we recognize that most staff members do not have positions that lend themselves to working from home. But, almost any MidSOUTH employee may have limited occasions where he or she is using flex time. Working from home and / or any flex time use must first be pre-approved by your supervisor.

If approved, please document the hours that are spent out of the office on your calendar. As a reminder, your calendar must be shared with your supervisor and, if you work at a Training Academy, with your Regional Team Leader. Please include on the calendar a notation about the nature of the work that you are doing out of the office.
