Join us for a two-day training on Teen Intervene, a tested, time-efficient, evidence-based program for teenagers (twelve to nineteen years old) suspected of experiencing a mild or moderate substance use disorder, covering all drugs but with a special focus on alcohol, cannabis, and nicotine use. The program is designed to include teens' parents or guardians. The Teen Intervene program incorporates the stages of change model, motivational interviewing, and cognitive-behavioral therapy and offers a full Screening, Brief Intervention, and Referral to Treatment (SBIRT) model.

This event is subject to priority registration. If you have a code, you may register yourself now. If you do not have a registration code, you are welcome to add yourself to the waitlist. Any registration spots avilable after the priority registration period is over will be awarded on a first-come first-served basis for those on the waitlist.

Pam Pietruszewski

Pam Pietruszewski holds a Master's Degree in Counseling and Psychological Services from St. Mary's University in Minnesota. She is a member of the Motivational Interviewing Network of Trainers (MINT) and has more than 20 years of experience training and implementing mental health and substance use prevention and early intervention programs.
