Satellite Teleconferences

MidSOUTH arranges to receive national satellite teleconference downlinks at the Little Rock site. These satellite teleconferences are sent via compressed video to other sites in the network.

Satellite teleconferences are presentations that come from other organizations, usually from other states. Downlink sites are located all over the nation. Satellite teleconferences provide two-way audio and one-way video communication. The audience members can see and hear the presenters, but they can only talk to the presenters via telephone, fax machine, or email.
